Alyth Golf Course
A mere mile from the hotel, this hidden gem designed by James Braid lies directly in front of the hotel. An immaculately maintained moorland course with some deceptively awkward holes, at least one round here is a must.
6205 yards 18 hole sss70

Alyth - Glenisla Golf Course
Only one mile from the hotel, set in the rolling countryside of Strathmore, glenisla’s natural contours and open fairways encourage the best from its visitors. Designed to offer a challenge to the more serious golfer off the back tees, the club golfer will find forgiveness for all but the most wayward of shots from the forward tees
6402 yards par 71 - 18 hole

Alyth – Strathmore Golf Centre
Just two miles from the hotel, the natural contours and established trees belie the fact that this course was established only a few years ago. Fast gaining in popularity with the discerning golfer.
Rannaleroch: 6490 yards par 72 - 18 hole
Leiftie Link: 1719 yards par 29 - 9 hole

Blairgowrie (5 miles)
There are two 18 hole courses and one 9 hole course in blairgowrie. Rosemount, being the older, more celebrated championship course, Landsdowne, a fairly recent addition to the area, designed by Peter Allis and Dave Thomas and the 9 hole “wee course”. Golf here is played over beautiful moorland fairways, shielded by silver birches, larches and pine.
Day tickets for Blairgowrie consist of one round on Rosemount and one round on Landsdowne.
Rosemount: 6588 yards par 72 - 18 hole
Landsdowne: 6895 yards par 72 - 18 hole

Carnoustie Championship Course (25 miles)
The venue of the 1995 Scottish Open and the 1999 British Open. A stern test indeed, especially the high winds! This exposed links course offers the ultimate challenge for the really adventurous. More water hazards and trees than you would expect on a links course.
6936 yards - 18 hole sss74 (also in Carnoustie, play the Buddon Links & Burnside Courses)
  Carnoustie Championship

Downfield (16 miles)
"One of the finest inland courses anywhere" according to Peter Thomson. This modern course is both tough and long, heavily wooded and undulating.
6804 yards - 18 hole sss73 (also in Dundee play Caird Park & Camperdown).

Edzell (33 miles)
Although a fair distance from the hotel, this course comes with a strong recommendation. Superbly situated at the foot of the Grampians, the heathland course is a true delight. Not a long course, but an interesting one offering remarkable value. Well worth the journey.
6281 yards - 18 hole
  Edzell Golf Course

Forfar (13 miles)
A good undulating heathland course that is regularly raved about by our guests. An enjoyable course for the beginner and scratch golfer alike.
6255 yards - 18 hole sss69 (also play Kirriemuir, an ancient 9 hole with additional 9 added)

Monifieth Medal (15 miles)
This is a municipal course, always in excellent condition, previously used in the qualifying rounds of open championships at Carnoustie and St. Andrews. Being a links course with an easterly position, means that, like Carnoustie, things can be pretty bleak. Several pine plantations, however, act as a windsbreaks as well as separating the fairways.
6650 yards - 18 hole sss70 (also nearby play Barry, Letham Grange (old & new) and Arbroath)
